LAHORE: Director General Lahore Development Authority Tahir Farooq chaired an important meeting at LDA office on Thursday. Detailed information on the proposed restructuring of LDA was provided at the meeting. CBD CEO Imran Ameen also attended the key meeting.
In the meeting, it was decided that CBD would provide support in implementing corporate sector style reforms in LDA. The two institutions will work together to generate revenue, improve efficiency and promote investment in the provincial capital, as directed by Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz.
The LDA DG said that LDA officers and staff will undergo modern refresher training on new market trends. He also stated about proposing necessary changes in the LDA Act for the convenience of investors and ease of doing business. The LDA DG said that according to the changing market trends, investors need to be helped. Later, DG LDA along with CBD Director General Imran Ameen visited One Window Cell where he was briefed about the ongoing reforms and redevelopment at One Window Cell.
