Islamabad: In a major address at the National Press Club, the Ambassador of Poland hailed the developing economic partnership between Pakistan and Poland, highlighting mutual benefits and promising prospects for the future.
The ambassador expressed his pleasure at the visit to the press club and praised Pakistani journalists for their unwavering dedication and hard work. He highlighted the strong cooperation between the two nations and underlined the crossing of the $1 billion mark in bilateral trade, signifying deepening economic ties.
Worth noting is the sharp increase in Pakistani exports to Warsaw with a total value of 800 million dollars, which indicates the growing presence of Pakistan in the Polish market. In addition, the involvement of Polish companies in the development of Pakistan, especially in areas such as climate change and digital technology, was highlighted as evidence of fruitful cooperation.
The ambassador further encouraged Polish investors to explore opportunities in Pakistan, acknowledging that it is a key market in the EU, particularly benefiting from the GSP Plus status. He also appreciated the long-term presence of Polish gas companies in Sindh and Balochistan, which contribute significantly to the local economy through reinvestment.
