“So Rishi Sunak thought he was going to chill with the kids, and it was a bombshell!” Farage said in the video with background music. “I'm not a Samba man, I'm more of a Gazelle myself,” he said.
The new blow for fashion comes just days after Sunak was forced to apologize following an online backlash from fashionistas, who took offense to teaming Adidas Samba trainers with suit trousers and a white shirt.
“In my defence, I've been wearing Adidas trainers and Samba and others for many, many years,” the Prime Minister told LBC in early April. But he added: “I offer a big apology to the Samba community.”
Don't expect an apology from Farage. The former MEP also took the opportunity to hit out at a rival sports brand that has come under fire from British conservatives for modifying its football kit.
“Did you notice that Adidas dominated everything at the London Marathon? Unlike Nike, which was politically correct and everyone woke up,” he offered.
Nike did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
