SINGAPORE – Brooks Koepka shot a 3-under 68 on Sunday to win the LIV Golf Event, his fourth victory on the circuit.
Koepka completed three rounds at 15-under 201, two forward of Australians Marc Leishman and Cameron Smith. Leishman completed with a 66 and Smith a 64 at Sentosa Golf Membership.
Talor Gooch shot a 67 to complete tied for fourth, 3 pictures behind Koepka.
Koepka has 4 LIV titles and 5 main championships. The final was the PGA in 2023. Koepka was the seventh totally different winner in seven occasions this season.
“It is all beginning to take form,” Koepka stated in his postgame interview. “I’ve put in a variety of work, I really feel like I am on the golf course, off the course. And it has been a very good two weeks to say the least.”
Jon Rahm, who has but to win since becoming a member of LIV in December, completed 6 pictures behind with a 67. He completed tied for tenth. Rahm is the one participant to complete within the high 10 in all seven occasions in 2024.
The crew title was received by Ripper GC led by Leishman and Smith. The crew had a rating of 32 below for the match, three forward of two different groups – Fireball GC and Cleeks GC.
“I knew we had it in us and I believed it was only a matter of time,” Smith stated in his postgame interview. “It took us a short while to get going, however that is how we anticipate to play and that is how we wish to proceed to play.
