Tokyo – Once highly vulnerable to volatility in the semiconductor market, Japan's Renesas Electronics has succeeded in building a more resilient business that remains profitable despite headwinds, its latest quarterly results show.
Net profit fell 24% year-on-year to 79.8 billion yen ($514 million) in the January-March period, according to results released Thursday by the Japanese semiconductor maker.
