Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s hearts were racing as they sang along to The Darkness’ I Believe In A Thing Called Love as they competed in the men’s singles final at the US Open.
On Sunday, the pop superstar and Kansas City Chiefs star was seen at the game with quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, watching from the stands at Arthur Ashe Stadium as Jannik Sinner beat Taylor Fritz to win the major.
Cameras caught Taylor rocking shades and a red and white plaid sundress as she belted out lyrics to the British rock band’s 2003 song mid-match.
She occasionally touched and locked eyes with her boyfriend, who donned a Gucci hat and sweater for the occasion.
“I believe in a thing called love, just listen to the beat of my heart.” There’s a chance we can make it now, we’ll be swinging until the sun goes down. I believe in a thing called love,” the two sang to one another.
One clip on social media shows Travis throwing up a horn sign, while Taylor is seen smashing an air guitar in a separate video.
Taylor previously committed to the song, which comes from The Darkness’ debut album Permission To Land.
In 2016, the Shake It Off singer spoke the song’s lyrics while dancing “like nobody’s watching” in a commercial for Apple Muisc.
In response to Billboard’s ad, frontman Justin Hawkins said he didn’t think the track “could be sexy, but somehow Taylor raised the bar”.
Justin added that Taylor was a fan of the British rockers and had attended their concerts “in the past”.
“It’s good to see she hasn’t given up on her roots! Take it to the bridge, Swiftmeisteress!” he said of the ad.
Taylor is currently on hiatus from her mammoth Eras Tour and is in New York ahead of this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, where she leads the way with 12 nominations.
