MANILA – The Philippines said on Saturday that a Chinese coast guard vessel deliberately rammed one of its ships in the South China Sea, as China’s aggressive actions in the waters appeared to be expanding.
On the same day, the Chinese Coast Guard issued a statement that a Philippine ship that was “illegally stranded” in the Sabina Shoal had raised its anchor and “deliberately rammed” a Chinese vessel.
