At a meeting on migration issues, it was heard that foreigners were “denigrating” the Moscow region.
Viktor Paukov, head of the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Moscow Region, has set himself the task of “whitening” the Moscow Region so that it does not become “blackened” by foreigners. It was heard at a meeting of the council, where the topic of illegal migration was discussed with the participation of the mayor of the city of Dolgoprudny.
The words of the head of the regional department of the Ministry of the Interior were quoted by a police representative with the rank of lieutenant colonel, whose name was not mentioned.
According to him, a meeting of the extended council of the regional administration took place on Monday, where Paukov specifically touched on “this area” and noted that it is under the control of the president and the head of the Ministry of the Interior.
“As stated, the main task, he said, is to “whiten” the Moscow region so that it is not “blackened” by foreign citizens, so to speak. This is the main task set for the next six months,” said a representative of the Ministry of the Interior.
It was previously reported that in the first half of 2024, Moscow courts issued about 27,000 decisions on administrative offenses against migrants.
According to the data, from June 3 to June 9, the courts issued the maximum number of decisions in 2,336 cases, which is almost 1.5 times more than in the week after the terrorist attack on Crocus City Hall (1,441 decisions).
