“In particular, it was observed that the prices of certain types of products declared as ‘lowest price’ did not differ from the prices of similar products sold in other supermarkets and farmers’ markets. Having an ad in this form can be considered misleading or confusing to users of the ad,” the committee report said.
Based on the above, the requirements of the first part of Article 16 of the Law “On Advertising” and the first part of Article 6 of the Law “On the Protection of Consumer Rights” were decided against the case of “Anglesey Food” LLC was initiated.
