TAIPEI – China’s leading chipmaker says the country’s drive to localize semiconductor supplies has boosted orders and improved prices in recent months and will continue to give the company a bump for the rest of the year.
Semiconductor Manufacturing International Co. (SMIC) said geopolitical uncertainties are fueling a rush to onshore production.
