The five dead were members of the same family from Fotekhobod village, according to a representative of the district administration.
“They went to Khujand airport this morning to meet their migrant son. After the meeting, the whole family went back to the compound. At the entrance to Matcha, their car collided with a taxi traveling along the Oybek-Dushanbe route,” the source said.
