Some entrepreneurs have registered their medicinal products as biologically active ingredients. The competition committee announced that their production was temporarily suspended.
It was found that due to the difficulty of the drug registration requirements, some entrepreneurs registered their medicinal products as BFQs and dietary supplements. Committee for the Development of Economic Competition and the Protection of Consumer Rights informed.
According to the studies, it was found that the drug “ORSA” produced by “Jorabek laboratories” LLC JV was registered as BFQ by other entrepreneurs. The product has also received official BFQ approval.
The situation was dealt with by the Center for the Safety of Pharmaceutical Products. According to him, BFQ product “KIFTI” ORSA produced by “KIFTI-OB DORI DARMON” LLC was found to be compatible with the composition of the drug.
In addition, the following BFQ instructions describe the specific properties of the drug, that is, its use for the treatment and prevention of various diseases:
– “ORS” manufactured by “MALIKA LABORATORIES” LLC;
– “ORSI MAX” is produced by “HVARA” LLC,
– “ORSASOL” manufactured by “VITALLY” JSC;
– “FITA ORSA” is produced by “MADINA FARM MED” LLC
According to the committee, the above entrepreneurs were ordered to temporarily stop the production of their products, withdraw BFQ products from all business networks and inform the relevant authority. Measures have been taken to return permits issued to businesses by the Sanepid Committee.
The Committee also added that proposals for amendments and additions to the relevant regulatory legal documents are being prepared, which deal with the issue of responsibility towards producers and eliminate these problems.
