Gold prices in Pakistan fell for the second time in a row on Wednesday in line with the drop in international rates. In the local market, gold lost Rs 1,400 per tola to settle at Rs 260,100.
Ten gram gold was sold at Rs 222,994 after registering a drop of Rs 1,200, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Tuesday, gold price fell by Rs 1,000 to Rs 261,500.
Meanwhile, the international gold rate fell on Wednesday. The rate was $2,481 an ounce (with a $20 premium), down $17 on the day, according to APGJSA.
Meanwhile, silver prices also fell by Rs 50 to Rs 2,900 per tola.
Last month, gold prices in Pakistan touched a record high of Rs 263,700 per tola.
