LAHORE: A woman police officer from the Punjab Police has been selected by the International Association of Women Police Officers (IAWP) for a prestigious award for outstanding performance.
This award is presented annually to a female police officer from around the world who has demonstrated exceptional service to her community.
SSP Rifat Bukhari, currently serving in the Punjab Safe Cities Authority, was recognized for her outstanding services in protecting women, using artificial intelligence to apprehend criminals and developing intelligent traffic management systems and road safety mechanisms. He will receive the award at the 61st IAWP Annual Conference in Chicago, USA this September.
