TOKYO – Chinese companies exported precision parts used in Russian weapons to a Belarusian defense supplier even after it was hit by sanctions over Ukraine, documents seen by the Nikkei show.
China insists it is not providing arms support to Russia’s war effort in Ukraine, but records suggest Chinese companies may knowingly contribute to Russian arms supplies. The United States and European countries are monitoring the situation and trying to tighten the regime of international sanctions.
