TOKYO — Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken, the American fast-food chain, will open its first Japanese location in Tokyo’s Akihabara neighborhood on Thursday, offering its signature spicy fried chicken sandwiches along with a selection of drinks and desserts exclusive to Japan.
The restaurant, located on the first floor of a multi-purpose complex with offices and restaurants, was opened to the press on Tuesday. The decor was heavy on wood, creating a cozy atmosphere.
