Ismailov supervised the distribution,” the report says. – The audit showed that Ismailov distributed only 247,297 kg of seeds and fertilizers to the farms and appropriated the remaining 20,805 kg for resale by falsifying accounting documents. According to the department, criminal proceedings were initiated against Ismailov under three articles of the country’s criminal code:

– Part 3, paragraph “c” of Article 257 (Theft of foreign aid funds on a large scale) provides a penalty in the form of a fine from 1277 to 2190 times the minimum monthly wage or imprisonment for seven to twelve years with or without confiscation of property.

– according to Part 1 of Article 314 (Abuse of Official Powers), the punishment is provided in the form of a fine from 300 to 547 times the minimum monthly wage or deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or perform certain activities for a period of up to five years.

– Article 323 (Official forgery) stipulates punishment in the form of a fine from 250 to 365 times the minimum monthly wage or corrective labor for a period of 1 to 2 years or imprisonment for a period of up to two years.
