In the first six months, production under the localization program increased by 34 percent. But not all networks or regions are the same. This was announced at a video selector meeting presided over by the President.
Although the share of local products in government contracts is 78 percent, it has been criticized that some ministries continue to import our own products.
Therefore, localization work will be organized based on the new system. The list and volume of the most imported consumer goods is notified to entrepreneurs every month. The Competition Committee makes proposals for the creation of new capacities and the expansion of existing ones for products that are lacking in the market, by studying the area and the sector. Based on these proposals, a package of specific projects will be created, which will be implemented in 20 large network facilities or on the basis of cooperation with regional enterprises.
A separate localization structure will be established in the government to implement this new system.
In general, the need to localize products worth 92 trillion soms has become evident this year.
