Law reports that a native of Tajikistan established an illegal madrasa in the Almaty region where nineteen children received religious education.

“As part of the Happy and Safe Childhood project, the Karasai District Prosecutor’s Office, coordinated by the Almaty Regional Prosecutor’s Office, conducted an operation and discovered an illegal religious madrasa where nineteen children were studying,” the report published Law.

The madrasa was reportedly set up in a private home and a native of Tajikistan taught the children to use religious literature.

“During the search, 179 copies of religious literature were seized, as well as a mobile phone and a laptop, which were sent for examination,” says the Almaty Royal Prosecutor’s Office. “The question of bringing the detainee to legal responsibility is being decided. At this time, all the children have been returned to their parents.’
